White House fiscal-cliff meeting ends
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) — A meeting between President Barack Obama and congressional leaders about the fiscal cliff has ended. Obama met leaders for about 70 minutes on Friday to discuss proposals to avoid the automatic spending cuts and tax increases due to take effect on Jan. 1. Leaders did not make statements after the meeting.
