Tesla to join Nasdaq-100 July 15 as Oracle leaves
LONDON (MarketWatch) — Tesla Motors Inc. will join the Nasdaq-100 Index next week, as Oracle Corp. leaves to be a component of the New York Stock Exchange. The electric car maker will be listed in the Nasdaq-100 Index prior to the market open on Monday, July 15. Shares of Tesla closed at 1.61 on Monday and were up 2.5% in premarket trade Tuesday.
