Blackrock tender values Twitter at over $9 bln: FT
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Microblogging platform Twitter is valued at more than billion based on a tender offer to some early employees, Financial Times reported on its website late Friday, citing people familiar with the deal. The million tender of shares goes to Twitter employees who have not had an opportunity to exercise share options since its last round of funding in the fall of 2011, according to FT. The tender offer will not raise new capital, FT reported.
